EEEP!  I can't tell you guys how excited I am to be able to reveal this BEAUTIFUL cover for a very dear friend of mine, Michelle Leighton!  If you don't know her already, let me just tell you that she is an AmAzInG author and a fantastic human being and friend!  First, how about a little teaser!?

Wowza!  This book is going to be hot!  Ok, ok...without further delay, here it is...

ALL THE PRETTY POSES by M. Leighton

He never wanted to be a hero…until she needed him to be.

Strength…
It took Kennedy Moore years to put her life back together after Reese Spencer shattered it. But she did. Now, years later, strong and independent, she is in pursuit of a single dream—to dance with the Altman American Dance Theater. Unfortunately, Kennedy is learning that a girl from nowhere with no money and no contacts might never be able to reach her goal.

That is, until Reese reappears, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that Kennedy just can’t refuse. In exchange for working on his yacht for a few short weeks, he’ll get her an audition with the famous dance troupe. All Kennedy has to do is keep her head down, work hard and resist Reese. That sounds easy enough, right?

Weakness…
Reese doesn’t want to make it easy for Kennedy. Seeing her again has started a fire in his blood—an unwelcome one. It took him years to forget about her before, so this time he has a plan. It’s simple: Get Kennedy on his yacht, seduce her, get her out of his system, move on with his life. That sounds easy enough, right?

But the one thing Reese didn’t plan for was Kennedy herself—a girl so strong yet so broken, she makes him want to rescue her, to take care of her. To save her. Even if he has to save her from himself.

COVER REVEAL: Perfect Kind of Trouble by Chelsea Fine

I am so VERY excited to reveal the beautiful cover for
PERFECT KIND OF TROUBLE!
(book two in Chelsea Fine's Finding Fate series)
PKT Cover (Final)Synopsis:
Kayla doesn’t do bad boys–in any sense of the word. So when Daren Ackwood rolled up to her late father’s funeral in his shiny sports car with sex and charisma coming off him in waves, she turned her head. She was in this tiny, God-forsaken town to take care of her father’s will, nothing more. But it seems taking care of her father’s will might just mean spending some quality time with Daren–a prospect she wishes didn’t turn her on so much.
Daren wasn’t sure why Old Man Turner would mention him in his will at all. But as it turns out, Turner’s will is more of a scavenger hunt. A very long, very confusing scavenger hunt. But Daren can’t afford to miss out on a wealthy inheritance, not with the way things have been going for him lately. He’ll do whatever it takes to find that money—even if that means being handcuffed to a feisty blonde named Kayla for a few days.
PRE-ORDER IT NOW!
I seriously LOVE me some Chelsea Fine!  Don't miss this one!
I can’t wait for it’s release! (Scheduled June 2014.)

Synopsis: SOMETIMES MOVING ON MEANS MOVING IN

Pixie Marshall wishes every day she could turn back time and fix the past. But she can't. And the damage is done. She's hoping that a summer of free room and board working with her aunt at the Willow Inn will help her forget. Except there's a problem: the resident handyman is none other than Levi Andrews. The handsome quarterback was once her friend-and maybe more--until everything changed in a life-shattering instant. She was hoping to avoid him, possibly forever. Now he's right down the hall and stirring up feelings Pixie thought she'd long buried . . .

Levi can't believe he's living with the one person who holds all his painful memories. More than anything he wants to make things right, but a simple "sorry" won't suffice--not when the tragedy that scarred them was his fault. Levi knows Pixie's better off without him, but every part of him screams to touch her, protect her, wrap her in his arms, and kiss away the pain. Yet even though she's so close, Pixie's heart seems more unreachable than ever. Seeing those stunning green eyes again has made one thing perfectly clear--he can't live without her.

Lucky Number Four by Amanda Jason (aka Carol Kunz of C.A. Kunz)

This week celebrates the book birth of Lucky Number Four by Amanda Jason (the pen name of my beloved friend Carol Kunz).  For a limited time this fantasctically fun read is on sale for 99cents!

Book Blurb:

Pandora Ann Phillips’ life is just normal-crazy.

Her mom’s psychic, her dad’s mom is a snob, her mom’s parental units are ‘too down to earth’ and her best friends are newlyweds. Okay, so her best friends being newlyweds isn’t really abnormal, but living with them in a cramped two-bedroom apartment definitely is. Sex, sex, sex, is totally on their brains. Actually, it’s not only on their brains, but it’s on the kitchen table, couch, on top of the washer…well, you get the picture.

Being a celibate (not by choice, mind you) full-time college student, and working as an almost full-time barista, Pandora can’t afford to lose anymore sleep. So, she decides to seek out a new place to lay her head. Enter three ‘drool worthy’ male models that are looking for a fourth roommate, and they want her…and won’t take no for an answer.

Romantic hilarity ensues as Pandora’s life turns completely upside down, and she begins to wonder if it will ever be the same again!

My Review: 5 STARS

Amanda Jason (aka Carol Kunz) has astounded me with her debut novel!

Lucky Number Four follows Pandora (Dora) as her normal, boring life gets a makeover in the finest fashion. When her two best friends (and roommates) get married, Dora realizes she needs to move out. She finds an ad on the grocery store bulletin board and figures, "What the heck".

She is in for a surprise, when she finds the loft apartment to be occupied by 3 famous male models. And what's more, they want HER to be their "Lucky Number Four" roommate and won't stop until she agrees.

Mystery and Romance and Hilarity are found throughout this fun loving story! I love this book and have read it twice!!

Grab your copy, you aren't going to want to miss this!!

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!  I'm so glad you are here.

I want to start by telling you a little bit about myself.  My name is Megan and I am an avid reader.

In the spring of 2012 I met, by chance (in my son's church league t-ball team dugout), the amazing Quinn Loftis (Quinn Loftis Books Website).  Two amazing things happened because of this meeting.  1) I found a soul mate friend and am so blessed to count her as one of my besties!  2) She introduced me to the amazing and booming world of indie books and authors.

The summer of 2012 I traveled with Quinn to the First Annual utopYA Con in Nashville, TN.  This is a convention that caters to YA and NA Paranormal/Fantasy Authors and the Fans that love them.  I was immediately at home with these fabulous people and their amazing books!

At utopYA 2012, I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible Carol Kunz, the C. in the writing duo of C. A. Kunz and the real author behind the penname Amanda Jason.  When making introductions in the hotel lobby, each member of the group was introducing themselves by their name and the names of their books.  When my turn came, I told her "I'm just a reader".  Carol immediately called me out telling me how readers are the reason writers write and the backbone of the industry.  Readers are the most important people in this community and deserve the most respect.  She also told me that I could never be "..just a reader.." because readers are everything.  Carol Kunz is the inspiration behind my blog's name.

We have since become very close friends and she still teases me about being more than a reader.  Today, I'm proving her right, by also becoming a blogger.

This blog will be dedicated to all things books.  Although not exclusive to indie authors, the majority of postings will be indie related.

I sure hope you stick around and enjoy what I have to share with you! :)
